5 minutes walk

1 other restaurant welcomes you in the village

In addition to the on-site restaurant "S Comme," a 5-minute walk away, you can try "La Pampa."

All you have to do is choose according to your tastes and budget.

A Palaja

The village of Palaja is very pleasant. Located at the gateway to the Corbières and Val de Dagne, between vineyards and scrubland, it benefits from its proximity to the city of Carcassonne, while remaining quiet.

The shops in the heart of the village, a 5-minute walk from the castle, are very lively and frequented by the Palajanais. From the Château de Palaja, walks in the surrounding area are very pleasant. During a single walk, you can pass almond trees and holm oaks, then through vineyards or an olive grove, cross a river, or stroll through the undergrowth.

The Pampas

At the entrance to the village of Palaja, discover La Pampa, a festive music bar and Argentinian restaurant. Tapas to share, Argentinian meats grilled over a wood fire (€32), cocktails... and you'll even have the chance to dance after your meal!

Starting May 16, 2025, La Pampa welcomes you:

Wednesday to Sunday, lunch and dinner

And every day from July 1 to August 31:

from 6:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., with Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes.

The Cazi del Mar

A 1-minute drive away, in the neighboring village of Cazilhac, Sébastien and Stephanie welcome you to a seafood restaurant. Enjoy delicious seafood platters, fresh fish, and other dishes prepared on-site (paella, zarzuella, fish soup, or stuffed squid). Enjoy the freshness of the dishes and the friendliness of the restaurant owners.
